Myriad is currently conducting a Phase 1 Clinical Trial for Azixa™ (MPC-6827) at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City. The study is designed to evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetic profile of MPC-6827 in patients with advanced solid tumors, in an escalating dose regimen.

Phase 1 Clinical Trial (Metastatic Brain Cancer)
Status: Completed

This human clinical study will evaluate the potential of Azixa ™ (MPC-6827) to treat metastatic brain cancer by achieving therapeutic concentrations in the brain that are sufficient to treat tumors without significant systemic exposure or toxicity. The Phase 1 clinical study will be performed at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
